Try listening to a MLB game without AM/FM and without a subscription to MLB.

If the Explorer incentive story is real (and I believe it) then these numbers don’t look that bad IMO. We’re down 47k Escapes, up 16k Explorers, the Explorer had its highest sales in 5 years last year so we’re probably seeing most Escape owners being retained. Main issue is then the aluminum fires which looks to be responsible for most of the decline.

As pointed out by others, that's not the issue.....the third row could be left down and you'd have the same setup without order complexity of a 3rd row delete.   The issue is overall dimensions of the vehicle - not everyone wants something the size of Explorer with or without a 3rd row.

While I still listen to a combo of FM radio (mainly for local radio shows) and Sirius, many FM stations also now have their own apps for listening.  However, switching between multiple apps if you wanted to switch the channel would be obnoxious.

Big words from a 1st day poster....my contribution is simple. Send your concern up through FoMoCo or hire an attorney to take it through court. As as retiree, I have plenty of free time....this forum is useful and it can be jarring - your posts smack of the bitterness that my Job 10:1 quote speaks of and I get that. Ford has to put a "cut off" somewhere and it sucks that you are on the wrong side of it. Did you buy the Lincoln new or used...Also, do you have complete service records for it? Where are these details?

I agree that AM/FM wouldn't be used much by many customers, but I'm thinking it is still useful for emergency broadcast situations.    I could be wrong, I really have no knowledge of the current status of emergency broadcast systems. I know cell phones get SMS emergency stuff, but there are many areas in the west with spotty cellphone coverage.

Thank you for the update! It's good to know. I have sent this information to the representative. I am also posting it everywhere I can. There are forums dedicated to this particular issue where I have posted as well.

This isn't an official Ford forum.  To my knowledge, I don't believe any Ford officials read anything here.   Your best bet is to find out who the regional rep is to your area and send them that info.   This is just a group of Ford enthusiasts.
