In its latest future product roadmap, AN says that a Ford Bronco hybrid is not only coming, but very soon - 2027, in fact. I was gonna post this and I agree with the styling, it actually looks pretty good and had decent amount of “toughness” built into the looks.    not a fan of the ovoid steering wheel but I think that is Hyundai thing now

I'm hoping so as well. Still probably not the best path if it's going to be one's only vehicle in certain areas or for some lifestyles/needs. But the same can be said of a diesel Super Duty.

Why waste all those resources on a vehicle that might break even.  Too expensive to make enough profit here.     A lower cost version based on the upcoming maverick SUV which is presumably on a much cheaper platform has a chance.

I'm meaning years ago they could've started bringing it over similar with what they've done with Nautilus, which would've given dealers a sedan option that they've wanted.....I've been suggesting that for a few years, as the work to create it is already done.   Obviously going forward, it seems like a non-starter at this time with the Chinese origins, and don't see that changing soon.   I'd agree that the only hope at this point would be something based on the Mustang sedan, but I don't think there's been any rumblings of that.  ExplorerDude would probably be the only one here that could shed some light on that.

Edge sold 66k units in 2024 as it was being wound down, and had a high of 142k in 2017.   Mach-E sold 51k in 2024 and 2025, though obviously it'll be less this year with the incentives gone.   All that said, I could see a Mustang crossover at least equaling that 50k amount if Mach E can reach those numbers.  I could see 70k even......depends what they do with pricing.  Edge had a spread of $38k into at least the 50s if not low 60s at the end from what I remember. Mach-E has a similar spread of $38k into the mid $60s. Explorer starts at $40k and stretches into the mid $70s.  So The question is where do they want the overlap?   I originally was thinking a $42k starting price stretching into the $70s for a performance trim with a higher starting price because of the performance angle, but with Explorer there, I'm not sure they'd have this thing start more than Explorer.   So, my guess is it'll be a "hybrid" of pricing with a similar starting point to Mach E and Edge - starting around $38-40k and stretching into the Explorer's upper level of mid-70s for loaded upper GT Performance trims (whatever trims they carry over from Mustang).  If they do a Dark Horse model, all bets are off with pricing reaching into the 80s-90s, which is crazy talk lol.     I can't read it either.
