I know everyone will reference Toyota and Nissan's full size truck ventures and lack of market penetration in the U.S., but I believe Hyundai/Kia/Genesis represent a more viable threat. If nothing else, this will give them a mid size global competitor in a market segment where they currently have no presence: https://www.autonews.com/news/an-hyundai-body-on-frame-truck-family-crater-boulder-suv-pickup-jose-munoz-0826/?utm_source=Sailthru&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Newsletter-DontMiss-20260826-12:57 -

I'm telling you, I would have bought a Bronco Sport hybrid if it were available when I bought my Maverick Lariat hybrid. -
Those ATPS would go up in spite of anything happening with Escape, that’s what happens when you pursue a rich product mix The Escape and Edge served their purpose but I think Ford needs something much better and more desirable that will bring the $$$$s

Thanks for the response! Yeah I’m gonna head over to Bronco6G. I posted here because I love how the order guides are easily found here. It’s very difficult to find a manual Bronco to test drive, as there are so few out there. I personally have never seen a new or used one on any lot. For me, anything below the Raptor is a no-brainer; I want two doors and a manual. But if I’m not crazy for that 2.3, it’s Raptor all the way. No in between 😂. -
The point has nothing to do with who competed in which race. I'm saying Porsche owns the Dakar name as a vehicle model/trim so Ford can't use it. I don't think anyone has registered Baja.

No I understand....this is where that 911 got its name from: -
"The last of the V8 Interceptors". I like it.

Off-Road Oriented Ford Mustang Still In Play, And It Has A Name: Video an off-road-oriented Ford Mustang was reportedly shown to dealers months later, and it's seemingly still on track to become a reality. "There's going to be a four-door. We reported in previous years about the RTR Mustang that has come to fruition. They've shown dealers an off-road Mustang called Baja. As far as we know, that's still in the works at some point," Automotive News stated in a recent video.

Ram’s New Work Van Is A Steal, Costs Thousands Less Than Rivals | Carscoops When Ram introduced the 2027 ProMaster City earlier this year, the company announced pricing was expected to start below $40,000. They’re now delivering on that as the van starts at $39,995, which includes a hefty $2,595 destination fee. This means the commercial van costs $3,495 less than the fleet-focused Chrysler Pacifica LX as well as $8,970 less than the 2026 ProMaster 1500 Tradesman Cargo Van. The model also undercuts the Ford Transit by $11,000, while limboing under the $51,285 Mercedes Sprinter. It’s even a better deal than the ancient Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana.
