Like instead of just making a mustang coupe like we have now, using the same platform to do a sedan, Lincoln coupe, and maybe even a halo model like a new cobra or something. Like that cobra clay model we saw at the Ford global headquarters. Doing 4 models off one platform instead of 1. 2 of which could be highly profitable in theory. All 4 could be built at flat rock as well. -

Exactly. I can't recall who it was, but someone on this site said originally Ford designers wanted to stretch the wheelbase of the GRD, move the front wheel up to make it easier to package the engine behind rhe wheels. But it wasn't in the budget. The s650 is a solid, good looking design. It's just some of the hard points make it look a little awkward or cheap from some angles. Things like the somewhat high beltline, and long overhangs. I feel like changing that wouldn't be insanely expensive. Push the wheels to the corners more. Lower the beltine and roofline a touch. Small changes that could make a big impact, and make the proportions more premium looking, which would serve a Lincoln coupe well. Like if they were able to invest money into the platform, and the design to take it to the next level. But keep the price pretty comparable to where it is now as a result of sharing the platform and components with several additional models, that would be a massive win. -
47 is prepared to put a highly developed predator amongst rivals that are at best 5-10 years behind… Chinese brands making vehicles in USA will be of primary concern to Japanese and Korean producers Amrican brands less so but even, this must be very worrying to Ford, GM and Stellantis…

The permanent loss of sales volume and market percentage is going to severely impact its future financing conditions - who wants to lend money to a company that continues to lose revenue, sales and profit…

An easy way to get this done would be to use the Mustang and adjust the proportions like adding more engine set back and change to a two door.

Our first 2027 F-150 order was a build I did for a Lariat. Holy cow was that difficult. The decontenting and "moving things to packages" was off the scales, and then trying to figure out how to make the truck like my guy wanted it was a flippin' nightmare. And all that, we did basically blind, because we had no idea what the 2027's would actually look like other than "revised grilles".

Power steps are not standard on the KR anymore. They gutted the Lariat so now they've moved on to decontenting the KR.

2028 as a 2029 model. Rumors have a lot of changes including possible steer by wire and brake by wire. A new 6 cylinder engine is reportedly coming although it may not be ready for the first year of the n.g.

Surely there'll be a way around having to get your phone out. I mean, what's the point then?
