That's how Tacoma's ext. cab is now; no rear doors. -
Well, next year's numbers will "easily" go up with F-series coming back to normal, but I wonder about the other models and how they'll do, as the entire lineup is carryover for another year at best.

This aligns with the talk a while back that there would only be a few options and no traditional trim levels (IIRC). I'm skeptical of their projections as well, given the market. I'm hopeful for them, but I think 50k is a better initial target than shooting for the moon....

Interesting discussion on 5.4 V8. Does jpd80 know what the deck height is on that engine in Australia? 227 mm or 257 mm? Or other? Usually engine programs have a wider potential application than just one vehicle platform. could this be a non ecoboost solution to competing with the new GM 6.6 V8, maybe between 5.4 and 5.8 liter Coyote? edselford

Ford Power Promise for 2026 and 2027 MME includes just that, so it's fair to assume that Fathom will as well

The biggest issue is the lack of charging (real or perceived) places. I wonder if Ford is considering offering a home charger as part of buying a Fathom, so all the buyer has to do is worry about getting it installed. -
Jimbo said Fathom is a "breakthrough product" that's "perfect for today's market" and will be "available to more Americans". A sales target of 100k sales a year is on the low side for a product like that. At least matching Maverick's sales volume, better yet exceeding that number, should be part of Ford's product launch plans for Fathom.
