LOL, I always feel dealing with issues like that were a pain with Ford. I don't know why it's so difficult.
I like the looks of those factory lights! For some reason, I couldn't find them when I was looking so moved on to aftermarket. The DD I ordered has a 3-light combo of 1 fog and 2 off-road lights on each side. I likely won't use the off-road lights much, but do like the fogs, and the off-road lights are a nice to have. Plus, they have a lifetime warranty, and they're designed and made right here in the great state of MO! We'll see how they are when they come in in a month or so.
I was going to get the Rigid/ Raptor style ones through Ford accessories, since I have not liked any of the aftermarket setups I've seen....I like the integration of the Raptor style ones.
I actually had ordered and received them a couple months back, but I went to go put them on and had even taken a few pieces off the car already........then realized that Ford sent me two sets of left hand lights.....and instead of being able to just send the correct light, I had to return the whole thing and wait for my Ford Reward points to get put back on my account. I had bought them during the labor day sale of 20% off, but when I finally got the points sorted out, they only had a 15% off sale, so it was a whole ordeal to get them to issue me a new equivalent coupon since it wasn't my fault they sent the wrong parts. Anyway, I saw they had 25% off for black friday, so I was going to go that route, but they're out of stock....
On top of that, I took my car for an oil change, and they never gave me my points for that either.....I tried doing the "missing points" feature on the Ford site, and it says "no transaction found", so I have to call and figure that out......they must not like me lol.
Curious, what fog lights were you trying to get? I just ordered a set from Diode Dynamics last night. I'd been debating, but they were 20% off (even though they're backordered) so I pulled the trigger.
FWIW, Borg is saying the same over at GMI....interesting to have a Spanish built product here...
This is the Spanish-made Bronco Sport I talked about. The plan is to also export them to the US. The reporting suggests it’s a distinct product, but it’s just a new Bronco Sport.
This article is partially true in that the next gen Bronco Sport will be built in Valencia, Spain but it’s not just for Europe.
It is my understanding that this is definitely the next gen Bronco Sport for global consumption. It will come from Valencia because they have so much capacity there and can serve all the markets, including North America.
That other C2 Hybrid SUV is expected to take the current Bronco Sport’s production space in Hermosillo.
Unless plans changed again.
