Ford Explorer, Lincoln Aviator Recalled Over Unexpected Seat Recline Issue Ford Motor Company is recalling select 2026-2027 Ford Explorer and Lincoln Aviator models due to an issue with the driver's seat. The defect: in affected vehicles, an unoccupied driver's seat may recline unintentionally during certain scenarios, such as remote unlock or remote start. The hazards: unexpected movement of the driver’s seat back may trap a second-row occupant, increasing the risk of injury. Affected vehicles: select 2026-2027 Ford Explorer and Aviator SUVs produced from November 24th, 2025, to June 27th, 2026. Ford is not aware of any reports of accident or injury related to this condition. Number of vehicles affected: 79,579 The fix: the remedy is currently under development.

Yeah, I think their point is to show all of the options as part of their custom Garage program, but it definitely jumps to the "why" category.....

Never had a problem with it myself. The latest update was really nice. -
Something about the 2nd row seating... I think GM has them heated/ventilated, I believe the Navi only has them heated.

To name a few: - Night vision (in the escalade since 2015+-. Now even the Yukon has it) - AR (in the escalade for since 2021) Digital rearview mirror (a lot of mainstream brands have it, the Bronco too) -Power doors/soft close doors - The screen is the same as the Nautilus, I don’t see Cadillac or Mercedes doing the same with their flagships. The one in the Escalade is bigger and I think it id OLED - Air suspension A feature that is not in the Escalade but in the IQ that I would like to see in the Navi is rear wheel steering -
