Not to mention all the external pressures of the economy that isn't helping sales numbers either. -
That and to Ford’s credit, F Series 68,000 sales achieved with tight inventory (186,000) The only way the active that was with good forward inventory planning and not excess building of trims that subsequently had to be heavily discount….

Minus Escape YTD utilities are almost flat. Minus Corsair Lincoln YTD is flat. Minus F150 trucks are flat YTD and we know why F150 sales are down a little. It's not nearly as bad as you think it is.

I understand the reason behind the Escape but what about all the other models this year? It has been months of lower sales, this month almost all are in red. -
It's not blowing smoke to say we purposely killed 2 models so we can replace them with new ones and purposely cut back on rental sales.

I understand that but dang that was political campaign manager level of smoke blowing. -
What's not to understand? They killed escape/corsair to make factory room for all the UEP products including the ones in 29 and 30. And cut out non profitable daily rental sales which was mostly Escape. The fact that profit is not falling with these cutbacks should tell you something.

July was a good sales month for a number of reasons. Our July results reflect a strategy that is working exactly as planned: we've intentionally been sunsetting select models and pulled back on low-margin rental fleet volume to make room for an onslaught of new-product introductions by the end of the decade," said Ford Director of U.S. Sales, Rob Kaffl. "While our total sales were down for the month, this decline is by design - this includes our planned sunsetting of Escape and Corsair and a 96 percent decline in our daily rental fleet business," he added. https://fordauthority.com/2026/08/ford-motor-company-sales-numbers-figures-results-july-2026-usa/ mmmm….what? 🙄 soo the plan is not to sell products now because new ones are coming in 2029, 2030? that is one hell of a strategy 😜👏🏻 -

Nautilus is not replacing or mantaining the Corsair customers. I don’t know about that sale hold but nevertheless the situation at Lincoln doesn’t seem good. I hope they still bring the chinese Corsair. The Navi on its first full year (of the new model) and is already down.
