The issue is I've heard that flat rock would struggle to produce a taller vehicle. Hence why they focus on producing mustangs and until recently, continentals. That being said, that plant is no longer running at full capacity, so I wonder if Ford has plans to produce future additional models there alongside the mustang. If that's the case, I wonder what those future models could be. Perhaps a mustang sedan...2 points

My brother in law ordered in May 13th a 22 GMC Yukon Xl, $93,000 with every option. It was just delievered on August 25th. Does GM not have the chip problems as Ford? Does Ram not have chip issues? I see tons of these new GM/Chevy 2500/3500HD Duramax trucks in MN...so maybe GM uses a different type of chip that's more readily available. Maybe Ford is getting a lot more sales that GM or Ram and Ford just cant keep up?. I really like the Ford Super Duties with the 22 12" screen. I think Ford makes the most durable truck out of the big 3. However, The extended 4.5 month wait, combined with the lack of communication, virtually useless Ford dealers....really have been considering other options.2 points

It’s definitely not helping the situation when people are going to 3-4 dealers and placing orders to see which one shows up first. Heck even a 2nd order is not helping everyone else who is waiting for their truck. All of the trucks that are popping up for sale on dealer lots have green window stickers… I’m sure some people changed their minds, but there’s definitely some double and triple orders, fake retail orders, etc in the mix. I have been seeing a lot of trucks getting vin numbers who ordered in last month and quite a few from March to June still waiting “in order processing”. It’s all about the options and commodities, but I still can’t make any sense on how someone with the same major options gets a truck ordered and built in 1 month when another is waiting for 4.5 months. The COVP should be waiving the dealer allocations, so that’s not it…? it’s fun and frustrating to learn all at the same time!2 points

Hopefully, go out with a Bang for the ice. Raptor R engine in a coach door 25th Anniversary Navigator would be knocking on Rolls Royce door no matter if it cost $120 Plus. It’ll be a signal bearer for the entire Lincoln brand2 points

Interesting comments made about potentially trying to compete with the defender. If they were going to go that route, I'd expect they'd go all in, with a 3rd bronco model within the bronco sub-brand that had distinct, but more modern styling and independent suspension all around. I don't see them doing a fixed roof, a few leather trim pieces and then trying to go after the defender with that.1 point

I`m sure, the majority of Ford employee`s see it, daily if not hourly in their plants. It reflects as a mirror of the same issues we see all around us everyday. Ford, Local, State and Federal level leadership has been so watered down with every other cause and all of the inclusiveness, rainbow ideology and the mindset of anyone can be a leader that our so call, promoted or assigned leadership is at a complete lost situation. This lost and/or incompetency in leadership ranks is slowly putting in place a very negative reaction. In our plant CAP it manifests every start up. Those playing the system don`t show up and those that do are rewarded for their years of service by being made to preform operations they seldom do and in some cases never have done. This then puts in place the moral that our leadership can`t figure out why the dedicated employee`s feel so screwed. This feeling is echoed through the first level of authority, Process Coaches. Their constant dam if they do and dammed if they don`t puts in place the same level of moral as the grunts. Why I state the reflection in our plants is that of the leadership we see all around us is because, if one is just coherent and takes in multiple views of information and one will see and hear for ones self just how the leadership in the local, state and federal levels of leadership is a clear reflection of our plant leadership. Example, be it any level of grunt on the plant floor, brings a suggestion for anything positive, backed with years of experience to the plant leadership and in most if not all cases the suggestion will be evaluated on the bases of who is making the suggestion, what their gender is, what group they identify with and/or if it will benefit the leadership in a personal manner/benefit. Reflection: Be it any level of grunt with boots on the ground, brings a suggestion for any positive and life saving situation, backed with years of active duty to the operations leadership and most if not all cases the suggestion will be evaluated on the bases of who is presenting the suggestion, what their gender is, what group they identify with and/or if the suggestion will benefit those leaders with the stars in a personal manner/benefit. As in our plant we see everyday the results of this all inclusive minded leadership is a reflection of what coherent members of both groups of grunts see manifesting all around us. Good luck & thank you, Marine Lt. Col. Stuart Schiller. blob:https://www.facebook.com/38fbb781-f6ee-463d-bd12-f3b2fa7d50181 point

Just replace them with motorcraft parts. Mact has videos. The replacement fans come with a new controller.1 point

I can see Maverick vibes in the front end styling, so it may not be completely out to lunch assuming Ford's going with a consistent design theme.1 point

They probably should do a single cab for fleet only. After all, Terminix and Nappa loved those single cab Rangers.1 point

With Grand Touring Aviator basically featuring 500hp, it’s criminal for the Navi, which is the Flagship of the entire Ford company, to have only 440hp1 point

Those look to be side rear view mirror monitors. Look at the exterior picture. The side "mirrors" are just camera stalks.1 point

very nice! That's the color I'm waiting on. I'm a little nervous about the interior. I ordered the King Ranch and after, it dawned on me the red tone in the seats may clash with the truck.1 point

My truck just arrived at my dealer in the bay area of California. I ordered it in March and just two weeks ago my dealer told me he expected delivery in October or November. I'm glad to get now because I have a road trip planned to Canada in September. It's a F-250 Lariat with a 7.3l. My current vehicle is a 2011 Expedition and it struggles pulling my 6x12 enclosed motorcycle trailer uphill. I'm looking forward to significantly better towing performance. The last truck I owned was a 1959 F-100, so this ought to be quite a change.1 point
