RangerM
I'm seeing more ads for the Honda Ridgeline on Primetime TV lately. Although they don't include any rebates, when someone advertises something, it's to sell more. (duh!) But, here in Raleigh, NC I might see one of these things every few days. Not exactly setting the world on fire. Does anyone actually own one of these, or know someone who does? Do they have some sort of "cult following" like the Pontiac Aztec? I see far more SportTracs, which seems to be the closest competitor. Do these things sell at all? Thoughts?

I've seen new ads for it recently though. I think the new Chuck Norris Ridgeline ad is stupid -- the Tough meets Classy one (or whatever it says). TomServo92
I work with a woman that owns a Ridgeline. She only person I know with one.
mustang84isu
Here in the middle of truck country (Iowa), I can safely say I can count all the Ridgelines I have seen in the last year on one hand. Tundras aren't that common either...and I have a 70 mile round trip commute every day between two urban areas with a lot of farmland in between. Explorer4X4
I don't think I've ever seen one.
RaZor
They have been advertising the heck out of them down here in SoFla. All of them have been using words like "tough" or "rugged" or something along that line. One night late last week we were watching TV most of the evening (unusual for me) and I bet we saw them 6 or 7 times. Must be they (local dealers) have a big stock of them. I don't know anyone that owns one and rarely see them.

I think that the Ridgeline is meant to compete with the midsizers...ie: Colorado, Tacoma, etc..... am I right?
JW
I wouldn't mind having a Ridgeline. It would be fun to pull it apart in a tug-of-war between my Expedition and my Explorer.

jonas1022
I saw one at the Honda dealer in OKC, OK. That was back when they were introduced. Lots of fanfare. No sales. Last week I "drag raced" one with my wifes 98 Escort. I would go a little bit faster when they would speed up, just keeping the front bumper in front of theirs... So we get to the next light and they floor it. I guess they didn't like that crap American POS staying infront of them. HA! I floored it as well! Spun the tires even! Well they got ahead of me after about a quarter of a mile. I was well over 80mph and starting to loose so I backed off. I guess they showed me! That was the second one that I have seen. LOL Its on my screen too. One thought about the trunk, if you're using the bed (then again go would do that?) you can't access the trunk, since there's something on top of it. silvrsvt
When they first came out, I saw a couple of them in my area, but since then they are rare as hens teeth... I guess every one who bought one traded it in on a "real" truck
twintornados
I see a few here in Central NY, but mostly it is Ford, Chevy, Dodge...but I will say, the parking lot where I work has sprung up a few Tundras.....they're a comin' folks, like it or not. (which BTW...I don't. LOL)

FordBuyer
I just read that Honda has an over 290 day supply of them on dealer lots. Just think, they could stop making them as of today, and at the rate they well they would last until October.
92merc
I see one every once in a great while in ND. I see way more 1/2 tons and even mid-sized than the Ridgeline. When anyone asks me about them, I just tell them it's a "lifestyle" truck, not a true hauler/tower. Think of it as a mini-van with a bed. Nothing more. kevinb120
We've had at least 9, maybe more traded in last year at the dealer. Several of them had bed damage.
richardmayo
I see my fair share of Ridgelines around home (Portland, OR area), especially on weekends at Home Depot and Lowe's. They're well suited for many suburbanites who are realistic about their needs; during the week they get the interior of a mid size CUV to put the kids and groceries in, and then they also have a small bed for the occasional weekend house project or a place to throw your bikes in on the way to the trail head.
