Hello all,
I have searched this forum so please forgive me if I missed it somewhere, but I cannot find a post on 1999-2007 (first generation Super Duty) for my issue. I have a 2006 6.0 SD with an extremely stiff ignition. It is very hard to turn to start and does not want to spring back or return and I must manually turn it back to “on” position. I have replaced the ignition cylinder and that was simple but that did nothing for the issue of “stiff or very sticky” actuation of ignition. Electronically all works fine, it is the mechanical process. I lubed what looked like the plastic actuator rod when I replaced the cylinder. I could only see a small portion of the actuator rod with the top and bottom column shrouds removed but did lube that spot. Some help with this, but it still does not function properly. I have also searched the web with no real results for my year/model of truck. Any body out there have experience with this issue for the first generation and how to fix it properly?
Thank you,
Tom
as much as I hate it, we did have people commit and put deposits on incoming...it was the instantaneous gratification people that became biligerant on phone calls...and during the peak, when we werent adding markup and everyone else was, our phones were off the hook...now the market has changed somewhat, the chances of someone commiting to a unit NOT on the ground, are significantly slimmer...
yeah a lot of Nautilus vibes, both on the front and the back
yeah I guess it is going to be the same as the nautilus, this seems to be a bit rough.
Also it seems to be not just 1 but 2 lines in the light bar:
the turn signal seems to be like the 2025 Aviator
Oh he’s come back multiple times as EBFlex and a few others. I figured out his real name and location because he posted from his work location one time after we called him out. He’s probably still here using vpn to mask his real IP.
