This morning's updated gas prices in Hamden, CT (Greater New Haven)
$3.05 Regular (Cash) @ Gulf
$3.09 Regular (Cash) @ Citgo
Prices up and down again the past few weeks. There's usually a $ 0.10 difference between the Gulf and Citgo stations which are located on an island at the intersection of a main artery in town and only separated by a Popeyes restaurant between them.

Here's an accompanying article talking about how this sort of thing will influence future EV customer vehicles with them seeming to hint it will play an especially important role with the skunkworks EVs.
That was with them losing pace at the end, and the top speed being limited to about 160. If they can find a way to improve the top speed moving forward, and improve whatever caused that power loss at the end, I wouldn't be surprised if this thing could easily run a low 6:30s or even high 6:20s.
Insanely impressive.
I read this and found it funny that the Chevy gets first, but the GMC gets third.
im interested to hear they didn’t like the steering wheel interface.
also sounds like the rear black panel is getting universal criticism….i was skeptical seeing it in photos, but after seeing it on the road, it doesn’t look any better. I have no idea what they were thinking. The back end is a mess, and saying it’s because of the split tailgate is just an excuse. The Germans and Land Rover have been doing the split gate for decades with good looking designs
I think it’ll pick up some sales from Escape, but won’t absorb all of Escape’s sales.
im not saying it doesn’t have appeal….im saying leaving it largely unchanged visually for 8-9 years is a disaster in the making, IMO
“Rules” are still up in the air and it sounds like it could go either way when it reaches Supreme Court. Agree it is not great for business to have rules changing back and forth. Uncertainty makes for a lot of waste or else lack of productivity if companies sit on their hands waiting for a final ruling.

Also, I think they wanna get back in the rental/fleet sales. So many base escalades and grand wagoneer at hertz and enterprise, I'm sure lincoln wants some of that pie. I do think its a good idea to add it, but it was better implemented during the my22 rollout where the navigator already had a lot of standrd features on the premiere that the others didnt, and the reserve just made it so the luxury features were bundled or optional.
Nobody is arguing that you have to like the appearance of the screens - that’s personal preference. What is wrong is calling it haphazard and lazy and an “add-on”. If you look at it closely or better yet drive one every day you’d see that it’s actually very well engineered from the dash design which is a lot lower and sleeker without having to encompass the screen. And the screen itself is larger and more forward for easier access. It allows the hvac vents to be centered and higher up. It also allows the designers to change the size or move the screen without changing anything else.
Having gone from a 2016 MKX to a 2022 Nautilus the difference in ergonomics is night and day and I would hate to go back. I like the overall appearance better as well but again that’s personal preference.
Not saying it’s the right decision necessarily just explaining why they made that decision.
One example is that the Chinese version may have a much higher price and profit margin in China so they can spend a little more.
But just because you can justify it doesn’t mean it’s the right decision overall. Just like Ford of Europe could justify making a totally different Focus and Mondeo but it would have been far better for the company in the long run to have a single version.
