Looks like the 2027 Silverado still supports Apple Carplay (and I assume Android Auto). Last I read GM will continue to support them for the "foreseeable future" according to their statements.  I'm predicting that GM will quietly walk away from their plans to eliminate Carplay (and Android Auto). 

So is Mitsubishi just gonna rebadge every Nissan like they did with the leaf?

Looks like Chevy did the same thing as ford with an “evolution” of the design. I’d be hard pressed to know it was a newer model without seeing it next to an old one.   More screens equals more opportunities for gm to charge subscriptions. Wanna watch YouTube or Netflix? Your gonna need to pay for for that in car WiFi.

This looks likes the cool concept version you might see at an autoshow. To get the production version, make it about 50% more boring 🤣. 

Well, Ford had a location at the point of import that would likely take care of that prior to it being brought to the dealership....from Google AI regarding the import of the Ford Transit Connect and the way they handled the import regulations then....   The same place that did these "conversions" for Ford (Wallenius Wilhelmsen) has processing facilities in the Port of Oregon where the Nautilus comes in....    

Or at the port... If they can remove benches from a transit connect, they could do this. 

Yikes. That'd be a lot of time in the shop hooked up to FMC-net or whatever it's called. 😄

Plus some AI renders I pulled using the patent. 

Just have the dealer reinstall the software.
