I think the biggest issue is that this vehicle is going to reset or confuse people when it comes to size.   People have been bitching about the F-150 getting bigger and bigger, when it really hasn't, outside of more four door models being sold. The biggest change is how high it sits vs older models, making it taller and seem "bigger" then it actually is.    The CE1 pickup is going to be sitting lower to the ground then what most people expect a modern Pickup to do. I'm guessing its going to be akin to the Ranchero or El Camino.   

The Ranger and this possible F-100 would use steel instead of aluminum like the F-150, but apparently this article got the plant location inccorect, so I'm guessing its just a nothing burger at this point.   I don't know why Ford would build a presumably heavier steel bodied F-150 EREV vs building the rest of them in Aluminum. Unless the next gen drops aluminum for cost reasons?

Look at that the other way around, Ford could pick any style it liked and went for this because air needs a certain shape to slip pats easily…..thst was the priority here remember, everything was made smaller more efficient so it costs Fird way less to produce. The hope is that the confluence for all that gives a vehicle thst still appeals to plenty of buyers…..

Not following or understanding the F-100 connection with the F-150 EREV?

I mispoke, I meant the cx-30. Mazda’s naming scheme is annoying and confusing. I had posted it earlier. Its hood is a similar size to this thing it seems.
