The Falcon was pretty cool too. But like the Falcon it’s a generation behind in styling. Put a Ranger front on a fifteen year old Durango and BOOM you get an Everest.
Agree, also I think they can improve the camera, a lot of competitors have a 3d option.
I also think the map section could take up more space in the display
It is a nice feature although I thought it was only on the Navigator as a exclusive feature but the Expedition also has it.
The Expy looks ok overall but I agree that the back is very weird with that black piece and the random lights
Couldn’t agree more, extension via a four door coupe is probably incremental production,
adding things like Mustang pickup or a two seater coupe like pre C8 coupe, maybe
but I get the feeling that when it comes to Mustang branded vehicles, less is more…
While I’m not against Ford using the Mustang name on more products, this type of design competition
is not helpful simply because the students doing the designing have no idea of what buyers tastes are.
I understand that the intention is to broaden the appeal of Mustang branded vehicles but at what cost to the name..
Some people seem to want technology for the sake of having technology, it's weird. Instead of having tech for tech's sake, they need to ask what's the best solution for the job. Sometimes it's even less tech and complexity than what you already have.
From Toyota:
An interior offering comfort for all occupants
In designing the cabin, the goal was to achieve an outstanding sedan package. The platform was reengineered from the ground up, with key structural elements redesigned. Compared to the previous model, overall length has been extended by approximately 6.5 inches and the wheelbase by 3 inches, resulting in a more spacious cabin. In addition, the seating position has been set higher to improve ease of entry and exit, while also providing a wide field of vision.
Motor Trend compared to previous ES and also BMW, and as can be seen this ES is considerably taller, what some would call a tall sedan. Height, as example, is approximately half way between Tesla Model 3 sedan and Model Y SUV. I suppose goal is to create a sedan with SUV advantages and appeal.
