Not any more. The print version went away in 2019.
At a time, I subscribed to all car magazines. I eventually let all of the subscriptions lapse, but Autoweek, which I kept.
CAFE target is set by nameplate. CE1 BEV won't help with Bronco's target.
Bronco's CAFE target based is the average footprint of Bronco. And that number is used to multiply by the sales volume towards Ford's CAFE. This is why Ford keeps pushing Bronco editions that are wider.
Well, I think it depends...
Equator, and Equator Sport are Jiangling Ford products. So they are on the local platform that utilized Mitsubishi 4G engine and off the shelve DCT.
Explorer, Edge, Mach E, and Escape are Chang'an Ford products and they all use Ford platform, engine and transmission.
If Chinese Bronco Sport is supposed to replace Escape, it should be a Chang'an Ford which implies it will be C2. But there is too much unknown to make a guess. We'll just have to wait.
If Chinese Bronco Sport is a Jiangling Ford product, then you really have to wonder what will happen with the Chang'an JV.
Back when they changed their print version to bi-weekly I said they had to change their name to AutoEveryOtherWeek……
Is there still a print version? I really liked it back in the early 2000s.
Hello, can someone tell me when the 2026 Mustang Ordering Guide will be posted? I know in years past it's usually posted by this time of the year.
Thank you.
Ford has had lane centering since at least 2020 on various models (Explorer had it then), but certain vehicles like Bronco disappointingly didn't have it even though Ford had it elsewhere. I'd assume this announcement will also mean that Bronco's "regular" ACC will finally get lance centering instead of the ping pong version.
---
As usual, many folks over at 6G are complaining (what else is new) about this saying how they don't want it, they want to drive....
to which I said...
I file this under people complaining to complain, like many other options.....which is the key word.
Don't like the option? don't check the box and/or just let the trial expire.
For those that do want the option, I'm glad they're finally giving it. I was disappointed that Bronco didn't have it at launch, as the trucks were getting it at the time, and I figured Bronco being new would also get the latest and greatest.
I assume this would also mean Bronco's regular ACC will be adding the "lane centering" feature finally (which keeps you in the center of the lane rather than ping ponging you back and forth if you drift to one side or the other in the lane).
As posted above as well, Ford now has different tiers for Blue Cruise - a one time entry, or yearly or monthly subscriptions so you could pay for it for a month if you have a road trip.
I think it'd be great to have and use on longer road trips.
I mean they've also said all models will be electrified soon, so they'll have to do something. Taking advantage of tech they already have ROW and in-house (Powerboost) would seemingly be the easiest route, IMO.
Man, Ford's REALLY planning ahead now eh? And talk about product launch delays....
