Although I typically buy black vehicles, I have to say Ford’s color choices are crap. It’s about as basic as you can get. Adding new and interesting colors could enhance sales. When someone wasn’t planning to buy something but an interesting color pops up, they might consider it. They also need some more non-metallic options. There are a lot of people that like flat colors.
Odd that it’s taken this long for Ford Authority to report on Q1 sales because back in April,
other news outlets reported Cybertruck Q1 deliveries at around 6,400. Must have found some more…
I'll say if the current mach-e is a crossover with some mustang design cues thrown in last minute, I hope the next gen mach-e leans harder into the muscle car theme. Apparently they wanted to make the first gen mach-e lower and wider, but couldn't due to platform limitations. Hopefully they really lean into this the next time around.
Thank you both for added info.
The frustrating part for me is that Ford China doesn’t supply more countries like Australia and New Zealand although RHD South Africa gets Territory /Equator Sport.
The use of Chinese parts suppliers with older more mature Ecoboost designs would seem to point a reliable product. Hopefully Ford can build on that work for another array of affordable products, even only for Asia pacific region for now where there’s no present tariff issues between those countries.
I own a 2023 F250 XLT 4WD Super Cab with the snowplow prep package. I have owned many trucks over the years although this is my first 3/4-ton pickup. This truck handles terribly. It wanders in the lane and requires a lot of intervention to keep it in a straight line. When I hit a large pothole or rut in the road it will jerk and almost feels dangerous. I am wondering if it has to do with the stiffer suspension that comes with the snowplow prep package. It seems slightly better since I replaced the stock wheels/tires with the large tires from a F250 Tremor. Looking for possible fixes as it is not enjoyable to drive.
