Lincoln needs another "Navigator moment". They took a chance launching Navigator and it completely changed the trajectory of the brand. If Navigator didn't happen, I'm fairly sure there would be no Lincoln today.
The "luxury Bronco" idea needs more seasoning but it is absolutely right as the next major product for Lincoln. The midsize authentic off-roader is the next high growth segment in luxury auto brands and everyone is trying to bootstrap one from scratch. Mercedes is launching a "Mini G" to that will land below $100K MSRP to complement the original G (the OG? 😂). Land Rover has expanded Defender line up to 3 different sizes. Lexus dealers are charging ADM for GX. VW is getting ready to launch Scout. Rivian is killing it with R1S.
Honestly, I'm really surprised GM hasn't gone all in with a smaller Escalade based on the midsize truck platform. They will print so much money with a well executed Escalade Jr.
This guy put 740,000 miles on a 2011 Fiesta. His mileage run came to an end when he hit a deer.
