The unicasting approach being used here will be limited to light duty applications. I doubt it could compete with BOF that is needed for the heavy duty use cases that Ranger and F-150 must handle.   It will be interesting to see what this truck’s tow rating will be. I’m betting it will be relatively low.

2024 revenue ($186B) is $30B higher than 2019 ($155B).   Net profit in 2024 was $5.9B which is more than 2018, 2019 and 2020 combined.   You guys have got to stop looking at sales volume and market share and start looking at revenue, net profit and profit margins.

Yes, Toyota manufactures the Rav4 in 4 countries to supply global markets. Economies of scale, they develop one SUV to be manufactured in four different countries. Ford applies this concept to the Ranger. But it should do this to more. Ford's mainstream C-segment SUVs are all over the place now. You have the Escape-Kuga, the VW-based Explorer EV, and the JMC-Ford Territory. Let's see if the Escape's BEV replacement topples the Rav4 in the US market... I said US market because we're not sure if Ford will make it global.
