The examples in the story very easily can be chocked up to driver error. If the vehicle computer data can show physical override of the accelerator. One didn't even have Blue Cruise installed... I have driven over 100k miles the last 4 years with either Tesla FSD active or now Blue Cruise on my Expedition and Lightning. The Blue Cruise system feels much more stable and consistent of the two. It has never put me in a dangerous spot, but i also keep my eyes forward because it is a next level nanny about keeping your eyes forward when in BC mode. Only complaint i have is the system will randomly decide Blue Cruise cannot be used on highways I've used it on numerous times previously. It will keep itself in adaptive/lane assist mode for unknown reasons. -
I bought my explorer with 13,000 miles. had tires rotated at 20K and 24K . (at Ford dealer along with oil change) Tires seemed to be getting louder, so at 28K I had tires rotated and balanced along with alignment at a tire place. He said the tires he moved from front to back looked like they were cupping. He said that comes from not rotating. I told him I had rotated twice (not balanced I guess). He said if the ones moved to the front started cupping, i probably need to get into Ford to have front suspension looked at. My warranty 3 yr 36k is coming to an end. Has anyone had this issue? what was problem?

He said it's a new kind of pickup that could be compact, mid sized or full sized.

Ford might be desperate to fill the plant with something though, even if I agree that's not much volume. Previously I had also proposed the idea of a "Bronco Sport Trac" - a Bronco Sport based pickup that could have the more offroad image while having higher volume than a Bronco proper truck would? I don't recall ExplorerDude saying that? Unless I missed that.

I had a thought that if the truck is called maverick instead of ranchero, maybe that means Ford will rename the next gen maverick the ranger because it's basically the spiritual successor to what the original ranger was, and calls their new midsized truck bronco. I wouldn't do that personally because the maverick name has already established itself as an icon, and they shouldn't risk messing that up, but it's just a thought. -

This is a concern I've voiced for some time. My best guess? It'll have a lower cost of ownership than either of them by a considerable margin, and it'll be more lifestyle oriented. Significantly faster than either of them, with solid chassis tuning and a really low center of gravity, then you have RWD. It sounds like it's gonna be a lot of fun to drive, which isn't how I'd describe a maverick or ranger. I also expect the styling to be a bit more bold. Over on the maverick forums, they weren't overly fond of the sketches I showed, especially that blue one. So if it's this ute with areo slick styling, I think a lot of maverick owners will pass on it in favor of having a more conventional looking truck. It's one of the reasons why I've disagreed with Akirby over the next maverick and the CE1 truck sharing styling. But having all these trucks are getting kinda ridiculous. -
I don't see a lot of overlap with CE1. It's an EV and the majority of buyers still don't want an EV. Think of it as an additional powertrain option. It might also allow Maverick prices to go up some. No way the Bronco pickup is going to TTP at 50k-75k volume. Makes no sense to build it anywhere other than MAP. Based on what ExplorerDude said it sounds like a new platform that could underpin multiple sizes.

Why does this bother you so much? People have opinions. It's illogical to believe that people will support a company taking a beloved product away. remember the McRib or the Coca Cola Classic

Hello everyone, My mom and dad have a 2014 Fusion Hybrid. This things eats 12v batteries like candy. It must be plugged into a trickle charger when parked otherwise it kills the 12v in 24-48 hours. It has done this for 5-6 years now. Local Ford dealer has not been able to fix this. I found some ideas online, and fuse maps, and right now we have the keypad and I think the telematics modem unplugged. No change. Glove box light turns off normally etc What are some other common causes of this problem? I'd like to fix this thing forever -
