The truck would be like the width of a semi if that was the rear glass and there was even more of it out of frame 😂. It's definitely the side glass, the maverick is a lot lower than most people think it is. -
im not so sure we are looking at side windows here. You can see the bottom of the window next to Farleys elbow. That would make this window about as tall as Farleys upper arm, maybe about a foot? If this were a side profile, I’d expect it to be taller. I’d also expect to see something between the front and rear door, which should appear right between these two guys, but there’s nothing there. There’s also no door seams like you see on the maverick. What this does look like is the rear window of a truck. That matches the shorter height of the window. Only problem with this theory is these guys would have to be sitting in the bed of the truck 😆. Maybe this is a mock up of the truck cab without a bed?

I've taken a pic of my maverick that I believe pretty closely matches the angle we're seeing if the rear just so we can compare. We see in the aero line teaser from months ago that the roof appears to taper downwards towards the rear of the cab. Likely it's a case where the shape of the cab is pretty comparable to the maverick until the passenger compartment ends, and then you have an areo extension running off the back of the cab that tapers down. I wouldn't be surprised if this areo piece can be removed to improve bed flexibility or for people who want a more traditional truck look. I've marked using a red line in the second of my personal maverick images where I believe the height of the areo extension roughly is in relation to the roof height on a normal maverick. Something else I've observed that's pretty cool from a styling standpoint if it's accurate, is there appears to be more of a muscle, more shoulder or hips to the CE1 truck compared to the maverick. You can see the quarter panel of the maverick is pretty slab sided, apart from where it flairs over the wheel arch. Whereas the CE1 quarter panel appears to have a more constant radius to it what sticks out more. Compare how much the gray metal sticks out beyond the black bed edges compared to my truck, which again, is pretty slab sided apart from the wheel opening. This thing might look cooler than I thought if my assessment is accurate. A slightly sloping roofline, with more muscular hips. I could see that style fitting the ranchero name well. -
I paid $2.97/gal for E10/87 while I was in Norman on Sunday. It was $3.14/gal at the Sam’s on Mingo in Tulsa.

Good eye! So a few detains I noticed as well, the roof looks low, maybe around the height of a maverick give or take, maybe even slightly lower than that. I think the second shot is the bed rather than the hood. The guy with the glasses, that might be Fields I can't tell, also appears to be mimicking the flow of air with his hands as it comes off the cab, and passes over the bed.You see what appears to be a bed liner, and a black plastic edge running around the top of the bed like you get with a maverick. -

The comments on it being a different kind of truck are intriguing. That could be Ford just saying it's a new, different model of truck. Or it's them saying it's like a style of truck they don't currently offer. -

So like a unibody larger truck that used lessons learned from the CE1 truck like gigacastings to make it most cost efficient? That's not a bad idea. But would truck buyers who can often be a little more traditional, and resistant to change appreciate the cost and engineering advantages with such a product? Or would they be turned off by it because it was too different from something like a ranger or Tacoma?
