I’m much younger and while I think it does get the Ecoboost v. V8 thing correct, I’m increasingly skeptical of an all-electric future rather than a mixed electric and hybrid market at least late into next decade. Accordingly I would be surprised to see the Mustang stop being ICE rather than some Ecoboost hybrid (which for the record I’d love to have as my next car).

I ordered a 24 F250 Lariat 6.7l and picked it up 12/2023. There have been significant problems with the truck: -Various electrical problems including passenger side door switches malfunctioning and trailer light hookup failure. - Transmission failure at 101,000 miles. Dealer responded with “It happens”. This was after reporting the delayed shift between 3-4th gear early on. I was told that “they all do it “. What a joke to drive the heavy duty truck calmly and have the transmission die so soon! - Most recently, I discovered the passenger side front wheel bearing was bad at 112,000 miles. After pulling the bearing, I discovered that the inner case seal on the differential was missing!  It was obviously never installed at the factory and allowed dirt and water into the housing.  in short, I am disgusted by ford’s inability to produce a nominally decent product for an above average price.

It ended up selling for $35k, so only a $5k loss.  Not as bad as the $14k price yesterday when I first saw this.
