A recall for a wear item that doesn't affect driving is ridiculous.

The savings extend beyond the product cost. Procuring 50 products from 20 vendors and managing that along with engineering, testing, assembly and warranty costs dwarf the product savings. Let's say it costs $500M to roll this out and it only saves $1B/yr. That's a 6 month payback. Even at half that it's a business case that nobody would turn down.

That's a change, too. First replacement sill panel from Ford Performance to Ford Racing.

Are they really going to call it the Ranchero? It instantly reminded me of a Simpsons SUV, the Canyonero. As far as the truck is concerned, in theory I think it could work. I am just skittish when it comes to Ford Electric vehicles. Nothing wrong with the vehicle itself, but are folks who would consider driving a Ford vehicle really interested in electric vehicles?? I guess that is the question I have. I'm no market or demographic expert but I do know if RAM came out with a small electric truck, it would fail. Why? Because RAM customers are mostly absolutely opposed to anything with electricity. We shall see. -
I’m starting to think this thing does have a pretty high belt line and it’s not all camo. In the first pic, you can see the camo is adding a few inches. It goes up to about the middle of the side mirrors. In the second image, the camo goes to the bottom of the mirror. In the third image, we can see that it has pretty short side windows which appear to be the same size as in the 2nd picture. I now think that the second picture is the actual shape of the truck, minus the extension on the back of the cab. I don’t think there’s any additional cladding trying to hide anything. The high belt line and tall bed does make it look a bit fat in these pictures, but the camo is probably hiding body lines that would make it look more visually appealing and less like a giant slab of metal.

Aping Hyundai/Kia by dropping the LED headlights down into the fenders is not a winning move. The Germans seem lost these days. -
Falcon would be good. Ranchero is, to me, even better. However, I won't be surprised if they roll out a name that starts with E.

Does Bronco only appeal to people who like horses

Not feeling "Ranchero" as it seems to limit the appeal to only a segment of the market that likes all things "country".....I don't see its appeal toward the more urban end of the market whereas Falcon could reach both ends. My personal fav is still Fusion.... -
Falcon would be a good name but I think Ranchero fits the American market better while getting at the same thing.
