Another reason to add SD to Oakville and potentially a hindrance to increasing Navigator production.

From today's Detroit News. Behind a paywall so here are the main takeaways: Ford Motor Co. has secured a U.S. Defense Department contract for three prototype trucks based on F-Series Super Dutys in its largest vehicle defense opportunity in decades, the Dearborn automaker confirmed on Monday. The contract would be Ford's biggest military contract since the Cold War. First deliveries are scheduled to happen by March 30, 2027, according to the Army. The prototypes will undergo operational assessments and limited developmental testing with the Army Test and Evaluation Command. The competitive prototyping effort seeks to enhance "lethality and operational flexibility on the modern battlefield," according to a statement from the Army. "Our Built Ford Tough Super Duty trucks are engineered for extreme durability and for the most challenging use cases making it an ideal platform for military use," Tovar said. "Our Ford Pro platform, technologies, and capabilities offer global service and parts support and industry-leading uptime."

It certainly removes that obstacle from the business case. But given the new dash what exactly is it lacking in the tech department?

Damn, Joe. We've shown you how to do it at least 3 times. When you open the link in your browser go up to the URL bar at the top and hit ctrl-c to copy then ctrl-v to paste it here or use the mouse controls.

We don't have issues with links to the actual site itself...that's what you've been asked to do! If we see the site name (youtube/autoblog/fordauthority/etc.) in the link, we can see where it's going and that it is a valid site. If we see the address as share.google/..., we have no idea what it is. It could be a porn site or a hacking site for all we know. We WANT to see the link to the actual site so we can verify before clicking it. That's what we've been trying to tell you. -
Dragging a link into the body of a reply field is an acceptable practice and offered as a choice by this website. I don't know what the problem is. So what don't you guys like? The fact that it's a Google link? Okay, I'll go to the sites myself and offer the link or I'll just post youtube links. Does anybody have a problem with youtube, autoblog, or Ford Authority links? Geesh.

It ended up being dropped for the horrible 2007 MY redesign/refresh which only offered rear air suspension. I can remember how bad of a time that was for the local Lincoln-Mercury store. They had just completed a very nice remodel at the moment they discontinued the LS and closed its doors a year later. -
I'm using a bit of BORG vision here, but the taillight shape loosely matches what we've also seen in the patent images.........I also just noticed the dual pane rear window on this patent image....

Guess the bike on there hints at the patent images of a bike rack in the bed.
