Well, parts like that are a given.   Ford already shares switchgear across many models (i.e. Bronco's air and radio controls are the same as F-series with different knob finishes).

Good to hear that it's a leap forward in all aspects.  I wonder if it'll take inspiration from the late 90s aero F-150, or if it continues the current general look?   It also makes sense that they've taken learnings from skunkworks and applied them.....it's great to see that they're doing that.....hopefully they do that across the lineup, and that it lets them add product back in other segments...     I just remember it's been a rumor for a while, and with them not needing a FWD version anymore, it makes sense.     Yup, agree.....   I think this news means the 2.7 is gone altogether and will be phased out in all products, with the 3.0 being offered in "regular" power versions for non-performance products (think Outer Banks, Badlands, F-150, Explorer, etc), and High Output power versions for performance products (like Raptor or ST models). It makes sense for Ford to want to consolidate two similar powertrains into one with multiple tunes. They'll get even larger economies of scale by now bringing F-150, Bronco, Ranger (or F-100 replacement), Explorer, Aviator all under a single powertrain, instead of having Explorer, Aviator and Bronco/Ranger Raptors as the only 3.0 products with a separate 2.7 on F-150, Bronco and Raptor.

This has been said somewhat frequently, not really new but the repeated re-confirmation is nice. If BORG is to be believed, the reveals should be beginning this week.

Same way Focus and Fiesta shared parts.

I just don't think it sold very well.

My brother filled up at the Costco in Owasso/N. Tulsa on Saturday for $2.96/gal for E10/87, and the Owasso Sam’s had the same fuel for the same price. The Costco on the other side of town (16 miles away) was listed at $3.75 for the same fuel.    I paid $3.71/gal for E10/87 at the west Tulsa Sam’s on Saturday evening.

I was thinking switch gear, vents, similar styling, maybe seats? I know it wouldn't be a direct fit or interchangeable between them.
