2.3L as in the ecoboost engine in the full size bronco? Were there rumors of that engine being made a hybrid? Seems overly complex for turbo and hybrid. The current gen Escape uses a 2.5L hybrid system. That could likely port over to the BS as is with minimal effort. -
I suppose it is possible that both Bronco and BS could be getting hybrid power trains in 2027? That would be cool but is probably wishful thinking.

It probably stands out a bit more on this new tuscon since this appears to be going for an off-road look, but the creases are widespread throughout Hyundais lineup. I think they would all look better with a bit of smoothing over, but the new tuscon does look better than these other models.

Like the 4-door Thunderbird, there should never be a 4-door Mustang! If you want to stretch the Mustang platform, fine. Just change the sheet metal and call it something else! Or give it to the Lincoln stable. How about the Lincoln Capri? My uncle had a 1953-ish one which was the same as my father's Ford Crestline. Of course Mercury used the Capri name a while back. Don't tarnish the Mustang legacy with a 4-door! Okay, now somebody's going to blast me! Who will it be?

It's not irrelevant. Bronco Sport came out first and the world didn't end. If a hybrid model Bronco Sport comes out before a hybrid Bronco, the world will still not end....... Next gen Bronco Sport makes most sense to me given the timeline. I don't necessarily disagree if it's true that they were engineering the hybrid in from the get-go (i.e. space may already be there for it). On a side note, the Our Bronco life guy was doing a walk around of a Filson Bronco, and I hadn't seen the integrated pillar keypad before.

There are some changes coming to Bronco for 2027, but a NG redesign is not one of them. -
And Bronco shares the same platform with Ranger PHEV. Probably equally easy engineering to put a 2.3 Powerboost in the Bronco. You could be right though, it’s all interesting news and I’m eager to see what Ford delivers over the next three years.

It’s not coming before the Bronco Sport-there is no production announcement for hybrid 2.3L in the US and I doubt they’ll import it from overseas. All the evidence points to the Sport-shares the same platform with the Escape hybrid and Maverick hybrid and would require next to nothing engineering wise to integrate it. Plus there are rumors of a new Bronco Sport coming in 2028. -
Not sure about that. If Ford is going to deliver a hybrid Bronco before T6.3, then 2027 makes more sense. Delivering it in 2028 allows for only two model years given that T6.3 is expected to be a 2030 model year. This would equally apply to the Ranger getting a hybrid.
