They look like they stole the C pillar design from the BMW 635 like Ford did with the the 1989 T-bird. -
Just remember this usually replaces any existing rebates so the net price may actually be higher now depending on the rebates.

I like it better then the previous gen. It looks more "trucky" since its more vertical then the older grill. I noticed that in person and it doesn't translate well in photos. -

Looking at this from a different direction-maybe the Edge and now the Escape are going away because of CAFE? Just look at what GM is doing with the Blazer, as an example. -

2.3L Ecoboost Convertible, Premium. Passenger seat heat was not working. Wiring harnesses on seat control module were "clean". Noted GU5T-... seat control module installed. Checked Ford OEM parts for the VIN, it listed the updated module BU5Z14C724A. So far, new module is allowing passenger seat heat to work. -
