VERY much getting Nissan Z out of the body in the picture.   As I think about this, I like the idea. My caveat would be that this car shouldn't be chasing outright performance, because that would cut into the Mustang's turf. Making it a touring car in the vein of the Lincoln MkVIII would be pretty cool. Neither Ford nor Lincoln has anything that fills that zone. It'd be up against the Nissan Z, Corvette, maybe Prelude but not exactly. Supra is discontinued, so they're not a factor, but something to still see as part of the category.

Flat Rock clearly has far more potential. I do like the idea of a Lincoln coupe. A much less expensive Bentley Continental GT. A mix between Luxury and sportiness that doesn't chase lap times. I think that would work.     It would be great to see Ford do this, and it's not that bold, imo.

Why?  lol     I'll agree with the wheel positioning/overhangs.  I don't really feel like the beltline or roofline are too tall.  But I also think it needs to retain some daily usability/practicality, and making it too low starts taking away from that.......also why I've disagreed in the past with your plan to chop out the rear seats and make it completely impractical for most people.

The passcode is a backup in lieu of paak, in case the phone dies, breaks, etc. I don’t use it regularly, but it’s an option. 

I can start my Lightning using a passcode. 

Huh?  Isn't it literally "PHONE as a key"?   How would you not need your phone for that?   Or are you meaning there's no secondary step?

It does sound convenient if it works well.

I don’t even need my phone or watch to drive my Lightning, I can use a passcode.  I’ve been using PAAK for five years exclusively first on my MME, then on my Lightning.
