Yea, that's a risk Ford needs to take. The article you shared stated:   Ford's EV efforts have struggled lately. It only has three EVs in its portfolio: the Mustang Mach-E, F-150 Lightning and the E-Transit van. At the same time, General Motors has scaled up its EV lineup to nearly a dozen models, with Chevrolet now becoming America's second-best-selling EV brand this year, only behind Tesla.   With Tesla also strugglin' lately, Ford has a golden opportunity to turn things around and maybe even become the #1 EV brand in America in a few years if CE1 products are as revolutionary as the head honcho claims. 

I'm thrilled, finally we get to see it instead of just hear about it. I'm expecting the styling to be pretty radical considering Farley as said they won't look anything like what people expects and he doesn't know how they'll react. He has said these small affordable EVs won't look like generic toasters on wheels, so that's promising.   They're either gonna look awesome, or look like shit lol. 

The big shot Davis last worked at Alto Pharmacy and Amazon before joining Ford:   Davis was most recently CEO of Alto Pharmacy, an online pharmacy that grew revenue to more than $1 billion under her leadership before its acquisition in March. From 2019 to 2024, she served in senior roles at Amazon, joining as vice president of global customer fulfillment and then promoted to senior vice president in 2022. In that role, she guided Amazon’s global fulfillment network through the intense challenges of the COVID 19 pandemic, driving major advances in robotics and technology that kept goods moving for millions of customers around the world.      

Time to see if the wait and seemingly crazy product decisions have been worth it. Guess we'll see shortly......

Yea, same here. Just the fact that we'll hear about something tangible from the CE1 project is a big deal.   Since Jimbo is callin' the August 11th announcement a Model T moment for us at Ford, he best demonstrate that Ford has its 'A' game ready for EV. This is Ford's opportunity to make up for the lack of new product since I bought my F-150 Lightning in 2022. Don't disappoint us Jimbo!

There's a chance we'll see a whole family of products at this event as well. I say chance because they might just reveal the truck and then vaguely talk about other future product plans. Who else is buying Ford stock leading up to this event lol?

Mind you, some of these positions could be really tough work and appear like a poisoned chalice to a career employee with 25 or more years with Ford   Ford pro is doing well at the moment but the first sign of slow down or lost revenue and guess who goes under the bus first?
