Hmm, if these trucks are BOF and Ranger+ sized why would it have a base engine less capable than today's North American Ranger (the 2.3 Ecoboost)? Or are you suggesting the 1.5/2.0 would be a fleet base engine?

With an entire factory to fill out I would not be surprised to see regular and supercabs along with long and short beds. Lower build cost should allow profits even on fleet sales. If true then I would expect either a 1.5 or 2.0 eb base engine.

Have a 2021 Lincoln Navigator. Has anyone been able to find one, or modify one? thanks Eddie

That makes sense. Similar to the F-150 and SuperDuty we would have F-100 and F-100 SD. This sounds awesome except for the long wait for it to arrive (2029ish). Any guesses on power trains?

I dunno, its not bad, but its also reminds me of this-like they took a straight edge to it -
To me it seems like reworking and rebranding of T6 Ranger and SD but I could be 180 wrong on the exact details…

Ford claims the aerodynamics on the new truck is 15% better than other trucks and control systems that are more efficient than those of Chinese manufacturers. All of that adds up to 50 miles extra range….. The other exciting part is, Ford will use gigacasting, or “unicastings,” to reduce the number of parts from 146 to build the current Maverick to just two for its upcoming pickup.
