They also buy Jeeps, Toyota's, Tesla's, BYD's, Mercedes's ....etc. You always take a look at the competition and see what they're doing. All manufacturers do this.

Very true but Ford wastes money on countless things without batting an eye. Take Michigan Central, a very noble cause to buy and renovate such a historic building to help rebuild a community but at nearly $1 billion total, Ford does not spend wisely on anything. $70,000 on a Cadillac to benchmark is nothing. -

I mean, Ford's CEO says a mustang sedan is something he's interested in, and we keep seeing Ford testing performance sedans. I know Ford has billions of dollars, but you still don't want to waste money. Spending 6-7 figures on competitor vehicles you have no intention of developing a rival for would be a massive waste when that's money that can be used to hire top engineers. -

Hello All, I'm guessing by now, the E-Transit has been out long enough that someone in the USA has crashed and totaled one. I'm hoping to find one so that I may use the battery, onboard charger, and motor for a DIY project. Does anyone here have any advice on how I might find a totaled E-Transit? I don't have any idea how to start this search. Thanks in advance! -
That's a good question. These videos show last minute testing for towing, but probably fine tuning.

Ford tests competing vehicles all the time. When I worked a the Dearborn test track in the early 70's, it was not unusual to see vehicles from GM and Chrysler parked in the infield. The fact that somebody photographed a Cadillac next to Mustang means nothing.
