atvman
http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/news/autoexpressnews/273220/new_ford_mondeo_revealed.html Based on the Evos and the camo covered spy shots, I'd say this one might be close. If so, then bravo because it looks good.
fordmantpw
Agreed! That looks awesome!
RichardJensen
That rendering clearly ignores the greenhouse revealed in the spy pic.

BORG
It's actually quite convincing based on the available information. But the greenhouse is borked-up a bit. Edited September 28, 2011 by BORG
RichardJensen
You mean *borged* up, no doubt.
Edstock
More mules than a Borax box. Am I mistaken, or has security been unusually tight, especially compared to other companies?
97svtgoin05gt
That'll be a hit if it actually hits the ground looking like that.

jpd80
No doubt Auto Express wants the next Mondeo to be like the Jag XF with a touch of Aston Martin thrown in for good measure. Edited September 28, 2011 by jpd80
ANTAUS
Oh no, not another useless trunk Love the styling though...
Stentgraft95
It's actually quite convincing based on the available information. But the greenhouse is borked-up a bit. Plus: Haven't they missed a body crease that runs down in the rear quarter and is paralell with the wheel well that are evident on the camo'd picture? I'm not seeing the rendered hips on the camo version that are shown either!
vision street wear
It is close....but the production vehicle looks even more sinister and the greenhouse flows better.

V8-X
Love the front. The rear is okay, could use some slight improvement. Would love to see a profile pic though. From this rendering, I'm not so much feeling the rear cab/window slope. A little too aggressive and looks like it could drastically impact headroom in the rear. Not saying it will/won't as this is just a rendering. I like it overall, but see area's of concern. hbalek
Here are the most REVEALING spy photos yet!!! The renderings were pretty accurate! http://www.autoblog.com/2011/09/30/next-gen-ford-fusion-reveals-new-face/
atvman
I'm not liking the size of the overhangs in those spy shots.
RichardJensen
I'm not liking the size of the overhangs in those spy shots. 1 - there's probably an inch or so of padding on the bumpers. 2 - attractive cars can't have significant front overhangs?
jpd80
Before we start complaining about overhangs, let's not forget that Fusion/Mondeo is still a FWD car and that the front overhang is necessary to due to engine position forward of the front wheels. The current Fusion and Mondeo are both nice designs incorporating the FWD nose so I would expect that the 2013 Fusion will improve on that and raise the benchmark higher...
