My friend's 2021 or 2022 F-150 didn't come with it and he really wanted it because he does a lot of water skiing and wind surfing and doesn't want to have his keys on him and the dealership put the stick on kind for him and told him they have a limited life because they have a battery they are not hard wired. I was shocked to hear that. I wonder if he can get the B Pillar replacement like akirby mentioned now. -
I do wonder where they are squeezing the last ~50 miles out of the battery. The Model 3 has like 60 kWh usable and a ~0.2 coefficient of drag and is supposed to get like 320 miles of range. It would be extremely impressive engineering-wise to get something as low drag as the Model 3 or even Lucid Air, but with 10 kWh less than the Model 3 the other efficiency gains have to add up. Otherwise its range would sit at like 250-270 miles.

It's a b pillar replacement. My sister in law did it on her explorer.

The stick-on DIO is OK... but on a vehicle that starts in the $70's, I'd much prefer the factory B-pillar light-up type. That reminds me, we have a Bronco Sport in our order bank. I should talk to the boss about adding the "18Q" Securicode pad so we're sure of what it is. It only adds $195 to the sticker, a worthy addition to know for sure. -
Nope it's the one embedded in the b pillar. They made it dealer installable a few years ago.

The downside to that is it doesn’t look as good as the one embedded in the B-pillar appliqué. -

My friend, I literally said in my post that the production car would need a larger, taller roof. Just that the lines, lights, some of the proportions could hint at where they take Camaro next. -
I said it was a dumb question 😂. From the interior pic, it didn’t look like there were doors until I zoomed in and saw the handles.
