Ford also requires the Battery Management System be reset after changing the battery.  Supposedly it resets itself if you let it sit for 8 hours but that didn’t work on my F150.

“2025 Lincoln Aviator Ditches Rear Door Sunshades” Really, already?!  Come on man.  That didn’t take long.  Add in the ongoing rear camera issue, and the hits keep coming.  

I can't answer that.  I was surprised too.  Walmart, a mechanic she knew, and the dealership, all told her the same thing, her Jeep needs two batteries.  Plus having the computer reset.  I can tell you that she will never buy another Jeep again.  

I love the interior, but the exterior looks like a typical CUV. I'm not sure if Acura at this point can be considered a real luxury brand as their "sweet spot" seems to be entry level cars with not enough to distinguish them from Honda counterparts. I feel they could put a premium trim in Hondas and get better results.

I like the way the interior color reverses the color combo of the outside. It looks good. But, as mentioned above the engine issue may be a huge problem. The Ford and Toyota problems were bad enough and those involved around 100,000 cars each. Honda's problem may involve 1.2 million cars, making engine replacements impossible.

There was talk about Detroit leasing out what will be the former DD5/DD8 assembly area in Redford to Cummins so they could produce some engines there. (A way of adding capacity for Cummins engines without them having to do it at their own plants.)   The Detroit facility is massive and they build engines, transmissions and axles all under the same roof.   Don't think they would try to brand them as Detroits, though.  They would just produce them as Cummins in Detroit's building.  We wouldn't go the way of PACCAR who is always tricking customers into thinking they made their own components that were really built by someone else. (ie. PX engines...)   Just don't know if that's still the plan or not.  Would be an interesting arrangement to have Cummins engines rolling down a line 50 feet away from DD13/15/16's.  LOL...

WTF is the deal with two batteries? I've never heard that before. Normally stop-start vehicles have an upgraded battery and that is it over what a standard car has. 

Unfortunately the  Galaxy name was used on an Euro MPV, it still grates on Galaxie history
