Looks like Honda tried to blend a CR-V with an Odyssey for space efficiency and came up with a polarizing-looking SUV. They should learn from Tesla Cybertruck and Pontiac Aztek that being “different” isn’t always a good thing.
The Prelude in video looks much better and OK to me, especially from rear. The front end I’d have to see in person, but appears similar to Accord and Civic in the way it drops down at very front, which seems off. Proportions don’t work well for my taste from certain angles. Of interest are some reports suggesting it will be available only with Hybrid powertrain, much of it shared with Accord, CR-V and Civic. Given size and aero look it should be good for around 50 MPG. Overall not bad for a sporty two-door car if priced between Accord and Civic.
I'm interested to see how much pull ahead there was with the tariff talk, or if it affects things.
It's not clear to anyone, aside from their BS "commodity product" line.
They got caught with their pants down without a replacement in the works (after cancelling the CD6 one) and had banked on mega EV sales that didn't materialize. I still think they need to do an emergency accelerated model to replace it.
I'm curious what will happen to Bronco sport sales when Escape goes away.....do they increase/absorb Escape sales, or is Ford left with yet another case of decreased volume.

Nothing but a full redesign will help the weird droopy rear end, but the front is better.
