Seems to me I did see an earlier version that did not have the snorkel-which to me was always used for vehicles that might be "Fording"😀...But would it help with dust ? Seems like it would to some degree as long as you are the first vehicle kicking up dust. As for dust, what about a "pre cleaner" someplace that provides quick access so you could routinely and easily blow it out with air or water.
For sure a bigger problem for our Aussie friends than us.
If it comes to the US, make it a smaller size package-super cab or conventional cab that capitalizes on its towing capabilities as well as GVW appealing to commercial/ag markets. Forget about the "look at me crowd"..let them buy the aftermarket crap on their own.
What can happen other than prices going up one way or another unless tariffs are rescinded? This pricing program may help short term as a bandaid but I’m more concerned beyond June 2.
I'd say this has a 0.1% chance of coming here. Remember these markets don't have F-150 or Super Duty (F-250+), so this gives them a stronger option in a smaller footprint.
Well I hope he looks at Tahoe, Escalade and the GMC versions with their crisp looks instead of the current "chunky"-can't think of a better word-look then they currently have. this guy came from Riviana? If so look at the Rivian SUV too..also much better IMO than the Lincoln versions.
This report says basically any of the specialty models aren't eligible (any Raptors, Super Duties, or specialty Bronco/Mustang models, as well as '25 Expy/Navi)....basically they're throwing it on everything they have excess inventory of lol.
Ford's Employee Pricing For Everyone Won't Get You a Cheap Raptor
Eh, I still think Mach E sits too low to appeal to Edge buyers.
If they're going to drop Escape, they need to add a Bronco Sport "Max" (LWB) AND a hybrid model (on regular and L), so that they can have a better ICE segment offering.
I think this is a good move, honestly. It'll be interesting to see what powertrains they offer, though. Is it going to be more of an appearance package, or is there going to actually be some sort of performance aspect to it (i.e. is it a "street Raptor" or is it just the regular 3.5 with some performance looks).
Seeing 2 different setups in photos, it almost makes it seems like it's more of an appearance package than a standalone model like Raptor.
I agree that it's better overall, I think a slight nip in width at the bottom would make it even better. But either way, it definitely looks like a completely different vehicle than before, not a minor refresh.
