Howdy all!
I’m trying to get more performance out of my 2003 f450 6.0 Post Apocalyptic Nomadic Vehicle. I tow a 16’ toy hauler filled with ammunition and canned food…
All jokes aside, I want to get more out of my rig especially when towing up a grade. What should I do first to get the best performance, or any other ideas?
-Banks ram air intake system?
-Upgrade the turbo?
-Upgrade torque converter?
-Egr delete?
-intercooler fan?
-Edge CTS computer?
… all of the above?
I just don’t know what’s worth it and where to start.
any thoughts on what I am gonna to get the biggest change in pulling power💪

PS;
im putting an aftermarket fuel pump and a Mashimito radiator/intercooler & coolant filter.
I do, except to me it was anything but boring at the time. 👍 Older cousin had a 67 he got used from Hertz Rental Car. Had a 200 cubic inch inline six, one barrel carburetor, 3-speed manual, and no air conditioner, power steering, power brakes, or power windows. He let me drive it when we went hunting even before I had a license. First Mustang I ever drove, before going on to own two of my own. His second car was a new Mustang.
Just mentioning because starting with more affordable “no frills” options can help build a brand and future business which can then lead to greater profits longterm. Unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be much demand for no frills cars any longer; or so we are told. Except maybe the few people who got excited over Slate truck’s lack of features. Obviously we are not going back to days of no A/C and drum brakes, but an optional middle ground would be nice IMO.
It would be neat if flat rock received this branch system with an emphasis on being able to build a wide variety of future low slung Ford performance cars. Not only would that give mustang a brighter future, depending on how flexible this assembly method ended up being, maybe that would mean flat rock could produce things like a next gen GT or something so Ford wouldn't have to keep paying Multimatic to develop and build it's higher end models.
I am thinking that in the near term, Ford can tap their Chinese collections for a return and then down the road, revamp Flat Rock into the new style "tree branch" production line.
