It seems that that world governments have come to realize that the people they govern want EVs and other clean energy vehicles, but don't want the ICE vehicles pulled out from under them on a certain date. 

I would strongly advise against exceeding the GCWR. Even if the truck is physically able the tow the trailer, all the liability falls on the operator if something catastrophic occurs. I also see lesser-rated trucks pulling heavier trailers all the time, but this does not mean it’s the safe or legal thing to do. You might want to look at a 2020 or higher Super Duty with the 7.3 as it can be had with a higher GCWR. Good luck with the purchase!

From what my friends at other agencies said (I don't know anyone personally at Bargersville PD, but my friends do), the Bargersville PD Tesla cop cars are all Long Range All Wheel Drive models.
