Is there an off-topic forum?   In fairness he literally ended the video at 1:10, before 20 minutes of "political" stuff.   The TLDR:   Fossil fuels are disposable energy, which require constant OPEX but lower CAPEX. renewables are reusable, requiring little OPEX but higher CAPEX.   It analogous to disposable paper plates, vs non disposable plates.   Building an economy around paper plates is wild.
