Well, in the near term, Ford could pull a "Mazda Move" when they created the CX-70 from a CX-90 by deleting the third row of seats. Create an "Explorer Sport" by deleting (or, decontenting??) the third row and just market it as a 5 seat CUV....Not 100% sure, but I think PIU is already there.
I read that some Volvo EV needed a recall to replace the computer it came with because they had so many issues with it. I hope Fords new system doesn't suffer from that!

Well the no boring products seems to indicate that if a sedan is coming it will be something related to the Mustang-a thought I had is that maybe Ford will "replace" the Mach E with an hybrid Sedan Mustang?
Its like the solar industry and "rare" earths-the Chinese wanted to corner the market by making them so cheap that no one else could compete or wanted to compete with them.
Fixed it for you - this would be a case where tariffs actually make sense. When their Government provides the financial incentives to garner sales, the affected market needs to be safeguarded from such predatory practices.
As a shareholder, I am hopeful, but as always, here is to hoping Ford finds the fine balance between "enhancing investor value", "economically sound practices" and "good employee relations" that many companies struggle with. That balance is there, just challenging at times to achieve.
Of course they have but now those brands are standing on their own legs, branching out
and offering Europe the forbidden fruit that its own brands can’t provide, affordable BEVs.
Some say that the Chinese play the “capitalist game” a little too well…
Its starting in Australia too, the snake is devouring other Asian brands from below as the
likes of Nissan, Honda and even Mitsubishi lose sales to BYD which is rising up the charts.
A bad infotainment system spans many vehicles. My wife has a Volvo-I have a Silverado. Both infotainment systems are wonky and plagued with software issues. The last OTA software update Volvo pushed wouldn't load to my wife's car. Had it installed at the dealer and was told even they had to make multiple attempts to get it to load. It's done now.
