I wonder if it's related to that mazda 5 thing The doors look identical.

I think the reason they cancelled it was because the 3 Row EV and now T3 where going to use it and the CE1 one was a better path. -
Maybe. I just don't know how in-tune most customers are to this type of reveal that isn't showing anything. If anything folks might be annoyed (like us) that they're not showing anything lol.

Yeah, I can't understand this move. This is the bad side of the "data" going back to Ford......it probably says that only X% of people use the feature, so they feel they can just drop it and nobody cares. But to your point, for those that use it it's great, and replaces the multiple fobs (not to mention those things only come with so many clickers, so depending on how many vehicles/people you have using those items, you may not even have a clicker!). Just dumb.

Is that Ford platform or what? -
Well, I think they missed that launch date....... 🤣

I'd say buyers that want a "traditional" BOF truck that isn't the size of F-150. Then followed that success up with nothing using the same process lol. I don't think most realistic folks would expect a Ranger PowerBoost to get anywhere near that. It would seem like a no-brainer to me to offer it on Ranger since the work has already been done, and they share a factory. The big question is whether Ranger sticks around... I feel like the drip feed is because they know they have nothing else close enough in the pipeline, so they have to keep pushing something out to remind people "hey, don't forget we're doing things!" Ideally, for me, they'd skip all this drip feed and do a broader/more detailed reveal at once. It almost make it feel even further away than it is........But I guess it is nice to get...something.

My '23 F-150 was built during the chip shortage era so it never had the stop/start BS. I'm not complaining. The '18 F-150 I had before that had a malfunctioning stop/start issue. It would shut the engine off while still moving but that only ever happened a couple of times while in Tow/Haul mode which really sucked. It quit working altogether eventually. That truck was also hard on batteries so I wonder if the system is smart enough to sense when the battery and/or starter motor is weak?

This isn't a Bronco or a Mustang either. IMO I don't even think Ford should take reservations till maybe 6 months before launch if there is an actual demand for it.
