Certainly can be dangerous if the throttle fails in some situations ( passing on a 2 lane road or accelerating through a busy intersection are a couple of examples).

The total numbers don't mean a lot but it does generate interest and helps folks who want one to get it sooner.

Yes, there was a lot of attention to Maverick generated by the initial reservation numbers. But it's just talk as many reservations don't translate to sales. Maverick was also very attractive thanks to the initial pricing but that's now long gone. -
I wonder if they'll go to 48v architecture as well? I remember Tesla claiming the 12v motors couldn't move fast enough on their steering (or maybe they had to be extra big/heavy to handle it... something like that. It came across as one of the main drivers for the switch to 48v) -

I was reading this thread over at 6G (49) 2026 Bronco Badlands - First Impressions (and Changes vs. 2023 Badlands) | Bronco6G - 2021+ Ford Bronco & Bronco Raptor Forum, News, Blog & Owners Community Apparently Bronco has also lost homelink and the zone lighting on the mirrors. I verified it with the '26 order guide. The removal of features is ridiculous.
