I think it boils down to "pain points" when it comes to vehicles: Example-CUVs are generally easier to get in and out of vs cars, but they are often larger, but also offer more "space", so customers deal with it. I'm sure full sized pickups are the same thing-I really haven't ever heard anyone that owns a full size truck complain about parking it, maybe if they where a Raptor owner where its also wide and long. I live in an urbanized area and I still see plenty of F-150 and super duties being used as personal vehicles. I think its personal biases working into peoples arguments-its like the wagon mafia that you saw on line for the past 25 years or so...people are like those are so cool but yet no demand from the actual buying customer. -

I don't speak as an "expert" but correct no air brakes on a 600. I think one of the biggest attractions-besides 4WD- is the physical size is less intimidating to the driver vs the size of the 650. For sure it is a safer alternative to a 550 at 19,500 gvw that is always overloaded to the max. -

I’m not buying that being a recent thing. My 3rd vehicle is. 2007 Silverado super cab and it’s harder to park than my Flex despite the length being similar. Hasn’t slowed sales of full size trucks at all. -
From across the pacific, Ford Australia announces price reductions for PHEV Ranger (now calling it Ranger Hybrid) The price reduction ranges from $17,000 for XLT to $20,000 for Stormtrak, and exactly those amounts below V6 diesel.

I doubt the 6.8L costs much less to manufacture than the 7.3L does. The only component in the 6.8L that might cost less would likely be the cast iron (vs. forged) crankshaft. Also remember the Cummins 6.7L Octane is turbocharged and produces substantially more torque (660 ft. lbs.) than the Ford 7.3L. I think a 7.3L gasoline powered Ford F-650 will have a very substantial cost advange over a comparable Octane powered Freightliner or Kenworth.

Since the Cummins Octane is a 6.7L, I would wonder if Ford could save a few more $$ and offer the 6.8L version of Godzilla and have a comparable result performance wise....just a thought. -
I’m looking at the Murphy in Wagoner, OK, and they’re advertising $2.99/gal for E10/87.
