These seem like solid things, but hard to tell with the darkness.

I think part of the issue your seeing is that certain people who buy EVs are have a superiority complex that manifests itself with products like this-they are being "different" for the sake of being different. like that steering wheel design. Or ones that own Teslas and are slapping other makes names/badges on them after Elon went off the deep end in their eyes-a coworker took a photo of a Tesla X that has a Civic and Honda badge on the back of it. IMO if your that worried about your image with a car, maybe get a new one? FFS! -

Good eye, this, but the graphics are reversed. On the old one, it's mostly grille and the three openings are mostly on the solid hood. On the new one, the three lights are on part of a contrasting section and the rectangular shape is now solid metal instead of a grille opening. -
It looks like they were using the first-gen Pathfinder as inspiration

For sure. To be fair, they can't take the "blob" out without a full redesign, but the new "grille" thing is even uglier than before. That ugly new grille applies to all of the new EV Mercedes product.

Yea, exactly. That battery has relatively high power-to-energy ratio and relatively low state-of-charge window, so it's optimized for conventional hybrid (non plug in) operation.

Yea it took me to Maverick wiring I think that link is broken lol

The Nissan e-power system utilizes a very small battery (~2.1 kWh). There would be very little benefit from plugging it in.
