Sure, I can see that now that you point that out if someone didn't already know about the talk of it coming from China. I didn't think much of it because of that fact.

I'd agree.....hell I'd even say "do both", again since Zephyr is already paid for in China, offer it for those that don't care about performance, and offer the "Zenith" (i'm coining the name now for the Mustang 4-door based sedan) for more performance-oriented intentions....

If the Mustang sedan actually does happen(fingers crossed); that would be an excellent starting point for Lincoln, make it a hatchback like the A5. I think the Zephyr would do quite well as well. -

Oh for sure. I just mean you can't slap a Lincoln badge on the G-wagen and call it a day, nor can you charge what Mercedes does.

I've long said they should import the Zephyr in medium/high trims only to keep margins up. The work is already done, bring it over since you're already doing it with the Nautilus and now Corsair.

I believe they were supposed incentivize current Corsair owners to upgrade to the Nautilus for the time being, but I’m wondering how long of a gap it will be before the new one comes. I can’t remember the timeline from when we thought the Nautilus was dead until they announced that we would be getting one based off the Chinese model. Either way they need this car—and a sedan.

Absolutely. But, Mercedes obviously has a winning formula there so probably best to use that as a starting point and go from there
