Agree, Pretty obvious Ford selling the base RWD Fathom for a sub $30k MSRP, that’s the headline it wants and you’re right, drive away price will be more, so will AWD and long range battery. Even so, a sub $40K drive away price would be very appealing to the buyers that Ford is really after.

Just as an example: MSRP doesn't include Destination Charge Fathom has a starting MSRP of $28,350 and adding the Destination charges is just being Punctilious -

That one would be pretty solid because Ford has stated that new Ford Pro product would go into OHAP in the next year or two. -

Thanks for validating my point. I get the marketing aspect by Ford, but that shouldn’t dictate the price posted in the title of this thread. The TOTAL actual starting price is $29,945 and the thread title should be changed to reflect that. -
So, is it S650 or the next gen? Especially if a prototype was shown to the dealers, wouldn't it be current gen?

Cheaper? The 4Runner starts at $42,270, and the Explorer starts at $39,270. I'm not sure whether the Everest and the Explorer in its current form should be sold alongside each other. It's not like the Explorer is a Highlander-type of commodity vehicle. -
kinda confusing how it was relayed to me, and I agree with you...there have also been rumors regarding a Transit Connect replacement with EV and hybrid drivetrains...but I cant confirm how solid the rumors are....

Im Ford only my friend....there was also mention of a Transit Connect replacement that could be 7 so Im hedging my bets...but its a needed injection of excitement with new product ...
