I couldn't resist sharing this morning's Moderately Confused" comic about fuel prices. Just last week Trump was talking about gas prices and claiming that he'd seen prices at $1.85/gallon in Iowa. I then looked at GasBuddy.com and saw that the average price for regular grade gas in Iowa was $3.35! -

Generally you'd only charge up to 80% of your total battery capacity for daily use. So 200*80%=160 miles So lets say is a really cold day (14F)160*25%=120 miles of range with charging to 80%, not counting for extra battery usage to keep the battery warm or heat the interior. Even with 120 miles of range, I'd be able to go to work at least 2-3 days without charging, but I can see that being a psychological barrier for buyers, given how fuel gauges work in ICE powered vehicles where they significantly drop once you start getting down to a 1/4 of a tank. I think most buyers would start getting worried once they hit that 50 mile mark because in an ICE product, the fuel doesn't seem to last all that long, going by my experience. -

Appreciate the alternate suggestion, but the F-150 and Super Duty's are apparently different. Which is unfortunate, You can never have too many storage options. I happened to be at a dealership on Monday, and confirmed the part number (and price) I found was correct. I also looked at the F-150 bed and a few other Super Duty beds. The F-150 panel is a lot larger and more square. Attached is a pic of another truck with the panel that I don't have. Interestingly, on most of the other used Super Duty's on the lot that didn't have Pro-Power, they didn't even have a hole in the bed. But I've also seen others in the past that have a blank panel, so I know my truck isn't unique. -

Given what Ford has done with the GT and how secret that was (basically no knew about it) whatever this program is that Ford is working on is under the same operation IMO As for Borg, it is the only thing that makes sense, but like I said, I'm shocked that Ford hasn't outed people by say leaking something to an individual that would have a only information that person would know that would be traced back to them. -
D&D has really gotten out of hand. After recently getting some quotes on shipping a vehicle, that F150 charge is excessive. Ford is definitely benefiting from the optics of separating the MSRP out from the D&D from an advertising standpoint.

I’m with you on this. I’m not going to judge anything until the final reveal, but I would hope the entry level range is closer to 300. I don’t know how the LFP batteries perform in the cold but based on my experience my Mach E, range was cut in half in the cold and on some extremely cold days more than half. 200 doesn’t leave me with a good feeling.
