Maybe you'll even be able to sit an adult in the back seat. Tacoma and Ranger are sized for children only. -

Yes that is what I was trying to say, but I'm leaning towards that the F-100 will be more capable then Ranger in different ways-basically Ford is going to try and make the DNA of the F-150 smaller vs forcing the ROW Ranger in the US. I think that is what they are trying to do. Basically outflank the whole midsize market with a markedly more capable vehicle. -
With no engine upgrades which was my point.

JPD80 gave us the hint that we will likely see a F-100 "standard duty" version and the F-100 Super Duty version. Sounds like that is what you are describing here but not positive on that.

True, but we know T6.3 will be BOF (not uni-body) and won't stray far from the Ranger of today with the exception of having Ranger Super Duty DNA.

@akirby and @Sherminator98 Thank you very much for all the info. It appears that I was reasonably accurate with my understandings. Should be a decent midsized offering. -

But you do have a Sasquatch Bronco Sport and a Maverick Tremor -

F-100 would be based on the T6 along with the Ranger and Bronco, but it would more like a 3/4 ton F-150-slighty larger then the Ranger and more capable. I'd expect the Super Duty Ranger to offer its bones as the high end model Engines would most likely be a the flavors the current offerings- 2.3 Ecoboost, 2.3 Ecoboost Hybrid and the 3L V6 Ecoboost. Not sure if they would value/fleet option engine. As for the F-100 having a Raptor option, I don't see why not. The biggest difference between the possible F-100 and current Ranger (as I see it) would that it would offer a 2 door model and other variants at the lower end for Ford Pro sales. Then the SD Ranger would be at the top for the same thing and maybe as a customer option or the basis for the F-100 Raptor. -
Depends on what they do to the platform to make it more affordable. There is a reason we don't have a Bronco Sport Raptor or Maverick Raptor.
-
It's T6 but is supposed to be a different kind of truck and affordable. That's really all the info we have. Several of us think it will be more fleet focused for Ford Pro with multiple cab and bed configurations leaving bronco pickup and maverick on the retail side.
