Jimbo said Fathom is a "breakthrough product" that's "perfect for today's market" and will be "available to more Americans". A sales target of 100k sales a year is on the low side for a product like that. At least matching Maverick's sales volume, better yet exceeding that number, should be part of Ford's product launch plans for Fathom.

Going to be a very strong 4th Quarter if they repeat this at least another month

Well since its a truck and it seems like it will be very affordable (top line trims topping out at the $40K mark), I think that alone will make it sell well. Its undercutting the Equinox by $5K in price across the board and offers a bed. The Maverick stole lots of of Civic and Corolla owners, I guess Ford is going after 3 and X owners with this or people who might be considering them. -
Of course they do. The 150 is Ford’s biggest discounted vehicle.

If you don’t hand start a bolt/ nut you always run the risk of cross threading. -

Why not keep the space but get rid of the backward swinging doors. Make it a supercab style with incrementally larger doors for rear cab area access by tipping the seatback forward like back when the supercab was first intro'ed (1974). -
F Series above 73,000 sales, now that’s more like it. Everything else seems to be following an expected sales plan.

Ford sells 155k mavericks a year, so 100k fathoms seems overly optimistic to me, especially considering that no non-Tesla EV comes anywhere near that. Mach E is at 18k for the year. Same for Equinox EV. I think the ioniq is around 30k and is the best selling non tesla EV. The fathom will beat its competitors in price, but there are EVs out there that are similar in price or only slightly more and they still aren’t selling in those numbers. Maybe the fact that it’s a “truck” helps it a bit, 50k seems like a reasonable goal. That would put it as the best selling non-tesla EV.

I couldn’t tell you the last time I saw an f150 supercab or regular cab on a newer model. I don’t think it’s a terrible idea.
