Mustang probably has a better seating position/view of the road.
Mustang needs to remain practical/usable as a daily driver - look at Camaro when it went too far into sports car/performance direction.
Ford Super Duty Production Increased Despite Fallout From Plant Fire
In total, Ford Super Duty production in November increased by 1,028 units or around 4.5 percent, from 22,648 to 23,676.
total F-150 output declined from 30,308 units in October to 21,069 in November, which is a difference of 9,239 units, or a little over 30 percent.
However, both Ford and Novelis maintain that production at the aluminum plant is expected to get back on track this month, which should help expedite that recovery.
Perhaps they should make the Mach E more car-like and have the Rally model as the lifted crossover model.
I'm thinking something like the Crown Sport, but a BEV. Height: 61.4in
*Crown Sport is a hybrid and PHEV
Current gen Mach E for comparison. Height: 64in
Well, you're in luck. It ain't a PCM issue. B2658 points to a indicator circuit issue. The PCM decides when to turn the WTS indicator on/off, but the indicator LED (or bulb) and its driver live inside the instrument cluster. If the cluster sees the WTS indicator circuit “open” internally (LED, driver transistor, or the printed-circuit trace), it stores B2658, even if the light still appears to operate normally to your eye. Unless you're getting a P code like "P0381", you don't need to touch your PCM.
'Which is exactly why I resisted so long, but it is nice to know we're 100% debt free. And that's $3k less per month that we have to take out in the future. More importantly I don't have to hear her whine about it every 2 months.
Unfortunately our health care goes up to $2300 next month because AT&T stopped subsidizing retirees 2 years ago.
Basically, keeping the Mustang silhouette but making it low again.
I'm surprised at the small advantage in front and rear headroom the Mustang has over the GR86 despite being some 3 inches taller. The GR86 height is similar to the classic fastback Mustangs.
GR GT being a 2-seater can get away with the very low roofline and lower center of gravity.
Much more likely to be a tailgate sensor/latch issue or wiring issue than a software issue. Lower the tailgate completely. Look at the two latch clips on the tailgate ends that grab the bed-side striker pins. Flip each latch to its closed position to make the sensors think the gate is shut. Then key the engine on. If that fixes the issue, then you're dealing with a latch alignment or striker pin adjustment problem. If the light stays on, then you're likely looking at a bad sensor in the latch/actuator, or maybe wiring.
I had a Flex originally, and got the Mustang as a second vehicle early 2018 (knowing that Bronco was on the horizon and was planning on getting out of the Flex because it was 11-ish years old at that point). I sold the Flex privately and then had the Mustang as a daily for a year and a half before my Bronco arrived.
Anyway, before I got the Mustang, I looked at an Edge ST, and did like it, but I just didn't love it enough to go with it. I guess it wasn't "unique" enough? (Which I suppose goes along with Farley's commodity product line). Had the Bronco not been on the horizon, I probably would've gone with the Edge, but once Bronco was around, that was the direction I was going.
Also in Bronco's favor was that my Mustang was a convertible, and that's what drew me to it - that I could take the top off and have the open-air feeling with an SUV. I did also think about a Mach E, but wasn't ready to go full electric (I'd have gotten a hybrid Bronco if it were available).
I would consider something like a Mustang SUV, but couldn't say if I'd pull the trigger or not unless I saw it.
I'm sure you understand this, but if you are invested at 11%, and your mortgage is at 2.9%, by taking that $60k out of your investments, you are losing 8.1% on that money, or about $400/month. If you just had it in a CD at 4%, it's much less, but the point still stands.
There is also that peace of mind to know that you are completely debt free, and you can't put a price on that. Also, sometimes it's worth that $400/month just to not have to listen to it from the other side!
Now, that's a simplified version. If you reinvest that house payment every month, you can make some of that difference back, plus there are tax considerations on both sides, but I just left that out of the equation because that's too much math for today.
